As stated on the project disclosure page, the IFC is considering an equity investment of up to US$5M in Equator Africa Fund, LP, a Sub-Saharan Africa focused VC fund investing in tech-enabled ventures in the Energy, Agriculture, and Mobility sectors with a focus on mitigating climate change. The Project is expected to be supported by the Korea Green, Resilient, and Innovative Development facility.
The IFC categorized the project as FI-2.
As stated by the IFC, Equator Africa Fund, LP, is structured as a Delaware Limited Partnership. The General Partner is Equator Africa GP, LP, also a Delaware Limited Partnership.
