As stated on the project disclosure page, IFC is partnering with Kera Health Platforms Inc (Kera) to support the development of a healthtech solution for telemedicine and electronic health records (EHRs) in Senegal. This collaboration will help support a product feasibility assessment by evaluating Kera’s ability to further develop its product offering to attract and effectively meet the needs of customers with its developing EHR solution and conducting due diligence in the market to test, further develop and evaluate market fit with customers.
The IFC stated on the project disclosure page that "the project will have no adverse social impacts and will cause minimal environmental impact manageable by standard methods."

As stated by the IFC, Kera is a pre-seed healthtech company headquartered in Dakar, with a mission to connect and transform the healthcare ecosystem. Kera uses artificial intelligence by aggregating siloed data points in the healthcare ecosystem, including EHRs, lab results, pharmacy data, and patient-reported outcomes to deliver actionable insights to medical staff.
