According to the IFC, the bank is considering an A loan of up to US$150 million to BSH’s subsidiary in Mexico, BSH Home Appliances S.A. DE C.V (“BSH Mexico” or the “Company”), to be used for the construction and operation of a greenfield refrigeration manufacturing plant within the Interpuerto industrial park, Salinas Victoria in Mexico, (the “Project”). Construction started in July 2022, and manufacturing began in June 2024. Construction works for ancillary facilities, such as the onsite canteen, will continue until the end of 2024.
According to the IFC, BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (“BSH”) is a multi-national home appliance manufacturer.
