Project Description
This project finances Bakyrchik Mining Venture LLP to develop the Kyzyl (Bakyrchik) gold deposit located in Northeastern Kazakhstan. Kyzyl is a world class deposit with estimated JORC reserves of 7.3 Moz of gold at an average grade of 7.7 g/t. The Project is expected to produce up to 1.8 mtpa of ore by open pit mining during the first 10 years. The ore will be processed by sulphide flotation followed by concentrate offtake and/or pressure oxidation (POX).

The Borrower's key asset is the Kyzyl gold deposit located in the north-eastern Kazakhstan. Polymetal International is the world's 15th largest gold producer and 3rd largest silver producer, and has a public listing on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and the Moscow Exchange.
