Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the IFC, the bank proposes to provide a long-term loan to finance its strategic plan which includes (i) the acquisition of companies in the pharmaceutical sector in Central America; and (ii) the construction of two new distribution centers (DCs) in Honduras and Nicaragua. Construction of the DC in Honduras is expected to commence by Q4-2024, whereas the location in Nicaragua is not yet finalized.
