According to bank provided information, IFC’s financing to IHS Group’s subsidiary in Zambia (“IHS Zambia” or the “Company”) enables the Company to improve the capital structure, so the Company can continue deploying telecom towers that are critical to delivering affordable connectivity through shared infrastructure, supporting business continuity during the crisis and economic recovery post-pandemic in Zambia. (the“Project”)
The total project cost is US$95 million, to be financed by an up to US$75 million senior secured A loan and also a mobilized parallel loan of up to US$20 million.
IHS Zambia is a fully-owned subsidiary of IHS Holding Ltd.
