Arbor Ventures (“Arbor” or “the Firm”) is a venture capital firm that invests in early stage Fintech companies that operate at the intersection of financial services, big data and digital commerce. The Firm identifies companies that are either headquartered in Asia or derive a substantial part of their growth from the region. The firm was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Hong Kong. Arbor is seeking limited partner investments for its new fund, Arbor Venture Fund II, L.P. (“Arbor Fund II”).
Arbor is a privately-held venture capital firm founded by Melissa Guzy and Wei Hopeman. The firm has so far received funding for its prior funds from institutional investors, financial institutions, and family offices. The general partner is owned by Ms. Guzy and Ms. Hopeman.
The Firm is raising funds to continue its investment activities. IFC is considering an equity investment, as a limited partner, of up to USD$15 million.
