This project finances renovation and extension of irrigation systems and infrastructure in four northern river basins and a part of the Mahanadi River Delta. It also finances the formation of community water user associations to manage local water resources and the improving the efficiency and effectiveness of government agencies that deal with water. 1.7 million people and 215,000 hectares of farmland will benefit from the program.
