Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to DFC, the proposed project seeks to provide technical assistance to support the development of training
materials for Farmer Producer Organizations (“FPO”) supported by Samunnati in India. Training materials will include
information on use of new technologies, increasing participationby women in FPO leadership, regulatory requirements, farmersupport programs, and FPO governance and management.

This technical assistance will increase the developmental impact of an existing DFC loan and guaranty to Samunnati.

Under the United States Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), DFC is obliged to respond to reasonably formulated requests for Agency records.
