Project Description

If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the CDB, the project will reconstruct a bridge and several roads; repair, retrofit and reconstruct several education facilities and teacher accommodation; construct a desalination plant and water storage tank; and rehabilitate and construct agricultural infrastructure. The project will also strengthen institutions for a redevelopment plan for Barbuda; build capacity of the Development Control Authority, support livelihoods in the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises sector; and provide psychosocial services.
