Project Description

As stated by the IDB Invest, Gases de Occidente S.A. E.S.P. ("GdO"), a subsidiary of Promigas S.A. E.S.P., operates the Brilla non-bank financing program, through which it provides financing to its customers, with collections made through the natural gas utility bill, for the acquisition of goods and services that contribute to improving household living conditions. The Project consists of a receivables purchase facility of up to US$100 million equivalent in Colombian pesos, under which IDB Invest will acquire eligible receivables originated by GdO under the Brilla program, related to the financing of home improvement materials, household appliances, residential natural gas connections, and other goods and services for the home.
