Paracel S.A. ("Paracel," the "Company," or the "Client") is developing a large-scale pulp project in Concepcion and Amambay, Paraguay, which includes the construction of an industrial plant for bleached eucalyptus Kraft pulp, with an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tons, a forestry program covering 203,000 hectares, and various complementary civil works, (i.e., power lines, substations, port, and access roads) the "Pulp Project".
The Pulp Project was approved by IDB Invest in 2022, and since then, Paracel has been complying with the requirements established in both IDB Invest's Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy and the Environmental and Social Action Plan agreed upon by the parties.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
