As stated by the IDB Invest, the present operation consists of a long-term financing of up to US$100 million, with a tenor of up to 8 years, including a 2-year grace period, for Exportadora de Postes GDL, S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company dedicated to the manufacturing of steel poles and hardware for the electrical industry. The loan will be used to cover capital expenditures related to the construction of a new service center, as well as the acquisition and installation of machinery and equipment, with the aim of increasing the company's production capacity.
The Project involves the construction and operation of an 80,000-square meter industrial facility that will house a metalworking service center in Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos, state of Jalisco, Mexico. Specialized equipment, steel coil levelers, and laser and plasma cutters—will be installed at the center to process and supply materials to industrial clients. The site where the Project will be located is a plot of land, clear of all vegetation.
As stated on the company's website, Grupo Polesa is a group of Mexican companies dedicated to the manufacturing of steel poles and hardware for the electrical industry. It consists of two manufacturing plants with seventeen hectares of fabrication and storage facilities, equipped with world-class machinery and technology. Polesa comprehensively develops its human team to exceed customer goals and expectations.
