Project Description

The proposed transaction consists of a senior unsecured loan to Sudameris Bank S.A.E.C.A. ("Sudameris" or the "Bank"), consisting of: (i) a Loan in Guaranies ("PYG") for an amount of up to PYG600 billion, to be disbursed in tranches and for a term of up to five years, with a grace period of up to two years; (ii) an A Loan for an amount of up to US$30 million, for a term of up to seven years; and (iii) the transaction also contemplates the possibility of mobilizing resources from institutional investors through a B Loan for an amount to be determined in accordance with market conditions. The proceeds from the transaction will be used to finance the growth of Sudameris' Small and Medium-Sized ("SME") and Sustainable Forestry portfolios in Paraguay.
