The proposed project consists of an investment of up to R$200 million (approximately US$35 million) in Patria Credito Amazonia (the "Fund"), which will aim to build a portfolio of structured debt investments to support companies operating in the Legal Amazonia. The Fund will be managed by Patria Investimentos (the "Fund Manager" or "Patria").
With a target size of R$1 billion (approximately US$175 million), the Fund is expected to make approximately 20 investments with ticket sizes typically ranging from R$50 million to R$100 million (approximately US$9 million to US$18 million) throughout its life. The Fund will focus on sustainable industrial development, sustainable agriculture, transportation efficiency, logistics and warehousing projects, and financial inclusion. The Fund will have a nine-year term and a seven-year investment period.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project.
