Air Services Limited (ASL) is a leading domestic airline in Guyana, operating since 1957 with a fleet of 25 aircraft. Based at Ogle International Airport, ASL serves 17 locations within Guyana, transporting over 50,000 passengers annually. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and adheres to international standards. This transaction involves a $5 million senior secured loan to acquire two Cessna Grand Caravan EX 208B-TBD aircraft for passenger and cargo transport between Georgetown and remote Indigenous communities. The acquisition of the two aircraft will enhance airport infrastructure and improve rural connectivity, thereby facilitating better access to essential services and economic opportunities.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
