The project involves a long-term A/B loan, senior and unsecure, of up to US$300 million. The financing will be structured as follows: (i) an A loan of up to US$150 million to be funded by IDB Invest, with a tenor of five years and semi-annually amortization; and (ii) a B loan of up to US$150 million, funded by one or more institutional investors, with a tenor of up to three years. The proposed financing will support Banco Santander (Brasil) S.A. to increase and diversify its long-term funding sources, to sustain its growth strategy focused on the green portfolio, with a special focus on the recently stated Eco Invest portfolio.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
