Project Description

According to the IDB Invest, the bank is considering providing a working capital revolving credit facility of up to US$15 million for a term of 5 years to enable FYCO to extend the payment terms offered to small and medium-sized internet providers in the region. This would help expand fiber optic connectivity in large underserved regions of Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly in the Amazon basin of Peru and Ecuador, where FYCO currently has a significant customer base.

A financial intermediary then lends these funds to their clients (private actors) in the form of loans, bonds, guarantees and equity shares.
