De acuerdo con el BID Invest, la presente operacion (el "Proyecto") consiste en la suscripcion por hasta US$20 millones por parte de BID Invest de un Bono Verde emitido por el Grupo Royal America por hasta US$30 millones, a un plazo de hasta siete anos, y la movilizacion de recursos para completar el costo total del proyecto. Royal America utilizara los recursos del Bono para financiar la compra e importacion de maquinaria electricos para su posterior alquiler y venta.
De acuerdo con el BID Invest, Royal America es un grupo regional que empezo en Chile, y que ahora opera tambien en Colombia y Ecuador, dedicado al alquiler de maquinaria electrica utilizados en centros de distribucion y movimiento de carga industrial, con mas de 30 anos de experiencia. A traves de este Proyecto, BID Invest podra contribuir al desarrollo de la movilidad electrica dentro del sector logistico en Chile y Colombia, impactando en sectores como; alimentos, ventas minoristas, agricola, industrial, entre otros.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
