The proposed transaction consists of: (i) a US$25 million senior loan to Danper Trujillo S.A.C. with a term of 10 years including a 2-year grace period, which will be used for agricultural and industrial investments in existing operations in Peru, as well as for structural working capital; and (ii) an unsecured and uncommitted revolving discount line of US$10 million granted to Danper Trujillo S.A.C. to promote financial support and ease of payment of the suppliers that make up its supply chain in Peru (IDB Invest will purchase the irrevocable and unconditional future-dated payment obligations/accounts payable denominated in US$).

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
