Marinasol S.A. (the "Company" or "Marinasol") began operating in 1987. It is currently the entity that groups the aquaculture division of DC Group in Peru and is mainly engaged in shrimp production and marketing. It has broad sector experience (over 30 years), is a national leading company with a 48% share in shrimp production and export and is based globally in over 16 export destinations, the most important of which are Asia (China, Malaysia and Korea), United States and Europe.
IDB Invest will structure a financing program with a committed tranche for US$17.5 million to fund the long-term investment plan to expand the capacity and improve the efficiency of existing operations, as well as the structural working capital (the "Project") required by the Company. There is also an uncommitted tranche of up to US$3.75 million for new investments of the same nature as those described above, to be completed in Peru.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
