Project Description

Long-term financing for the 165.3 megawatt ("MW") wind power expansion project of Enel Green Power Peru S.A.C, Wayra I (the "Project").The Project is located in Marcona District, Nasca Region, Peru and expects to start commercial operations in 2023.

The financing consists of a total amount of USD $ 85 million provided by IDB Invest, with term of up to 15 years, guaranteed by Enel S.p.A. Through this operation, IDB Invest seeks to contribute to the Peruvian government's objective of diversifying and improving the security of the country's energy matrix, through the development of renewable wind energy sources.
