Project Description

According to the bank, he proposed operation contemplates a Senior Unsecured Loan of up to BRL100 million, for a term of 3 year, to be financed by BID Invest (the "Loan"). The funds will be used to finance the portfolios of pre-owned cargo vehicles (trucks), microfinance for autonomous entrepreneurs and registered immigrants.

Financial Intermediary
A financial intermediary is a bank or financial institution that receives funds from a development bank. A financial intermediary then lends these funds to their clients (private actors) in the form of loans, bonds, guarantees and equity shares. Financial intermediaries include insurance, pension and equity funds. The direct financial relationship is between the development bank and the financial intermediary.
