Project Description

El financiamiento propuesto consiste en:

 

(i) Un prestamo senior por hasta US$10 millones y a un plazo maximo de 8 anos, con amortizaciones semestrales de capital e intereses, incluyendo 18 meses de gracia, para la construccion de una planta de semillas y la construccion y ampliacion de silos, que le permitira a Agrofertil S.A. asegurar el suministro y calidad de estos insumos, y extender su alcance geografico para estar mas cerca del productor.

 

(ii) Una linea de credito anual revolvente comprometida a Agrofertil S.A. por hasta US$30 millones con un plazo de hasta cuatro anos. La empresa utilizara dichos fondos para la compra de agroinsumos que posteriormente vendera y financiara a productores a plazos de hasta 390 dias, buscando sustituir lineas de credito de proveedores que hoy otorgan menores plazos.

 

Agrofertil es la empresa lider en distribucion de insumos agricolas en Paraguay, prestando ademas los servicios de asistencia tecnica a los productores, y en la compra, acopio y venta de granos.
